According to the website True Trophies, Back 4 Blood will feature a number of achievements for fans to collect during play. There are, according to the list, 56 in total. Many of which will be what players can expect, such as trophies for completing campaigns on the most difficult settings, reviving a fallen teammate, finding numerous secrets throughout, etc. But there is also another trophy which is clearly a nod to the game’s spiritual predecessor.
Given that Back 4 Blood is essentially being touted as Left 4 Dead 3, with the studio consisting of people who worked on the L4D games, there is one achievement which is a reference to the Valve zombie games. One of the trophies that players can collect, according to this list, is called “Good Riddence!” and can be earned when players kill exactly 53,600 of the game’s enemies known as the Ridden. This is a nod to the original Left 4 Dead, in which there was a similar achievement called “Zombie Genocider” if players killed 53,595 zombies. It’s not mentioned why the extra five enemies need to be killed, but it certainly rounds up the figure.
It’s also supposed to be one of many games that will be on Xbox Game Pass upon release, which is likely to entice even more players. Given that Left 4 Dead 2 was published in 2009, fans have been waiting for more than a decade for either a sequel, or something similar, to come along. It looks as though Back 4 Blood is going to please a lot of shooter fans.
For those who took part a few weeks back, the Back 4 Blood beta showed enormous play figures. The statistics showed that more than 5.6 million people took part in the open beta, killing billions of the common Ridden, and hundreds of millions of the special infected enemies. It shows just how much people have been looking forward to this game, perhaps more so now with the launch date just around the corner.
After the success of the recent open beta, fans appear to be eager to get their hands on the upcoming team zombie shooter Back 4 Blood, which is due out in a couple of weeks. In fact, October is shaping up to be a good month overall for big releases, with this, the remaster of Alan Wake, and Far Cry 6 to name a few. As players wait for the Turtle Rock FPS to come out, there has been an interesting development lately, which shows what trophies will be available to earn in the game.
