The final day of the Maui Interscholastic League bowling regular season featured all four remaining undefeated teams facing off Saturday at Wailuku Lanes, and the Kamehameha Schools Maui boys and Baldwin girls came away with the titles.

The girls championship went to Baldwin, which defeated Kamehameha 2-1. Kaycee Takai had a 163 for the Bears (11-1), while Kalena Torres-Estores had a 155 and Jailee Fujita a 150. Jordan Holokai-Jacinto led the Warriors (10-2) with games of 155 and 142. Jayna Kanoholani-Haglan added a 140 and Taytum Chai a 132.

Jacy Anne Dela Cruz bowled a 136 and 124, and Achea Barcoma-Suyat had a 110 to lead the Sabers girls (6-6). Na Alii (3-6) got a 111 from Ryley Jackson.

In the day’s other matches, the Maui High girls and King Kekaulike boys earned 3-0 victories.

  • Anson Cabello bowled the highest score of the day, a 219, to lead the Warriors past Baldwin 3-0 to take the boys title. Luke Kahuhu added a 192 and Jasyah Macugay a 184 for Kamehameha (12-0), which will be the No. 1 seed for next week’s MIL tournament. The Bears (9-3) were led by Jarin Tateishi (167), Frederick Calhau (162) and Kelvyn Saito (162).

Na Alii boys (6-6) were led by Travis Brittain (158-139) and Rayden Siarot (144). Jarred Peros (147), Chase Nozaki (144) and Ryan Julian (144) led the way for the Sabers (3-9).
