Both Brooklyn and Boston were victorious their last time out, but right now only Brooklyn is in position to continue that streak. We’ll see if Brooklyn can maintain their lead to polish off another win and cancel out Boston’s positive energy.
Brooklyn @ Boston
What to Know
Current Records: Brooklyn 13-5; Boston 10-8
The Brooklyn Nets are on the road but looking no worse for wear. They are way out in front after one quarter with a 32-22 lead over the Boston Celtics. The Nets have been led by power forward Kevin Durant, who so far has ten points and two assists.
The Brooklyn Nets’ road trip will continue as they head to TD Garden at 7:30 p.m. ET Wednesday to face off against the Boston Celtics. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.
Brooklyn can’t say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They managed a 117-112 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. It was another big night for the Nets’ power forward Kevin Durant, who had 27 points and nine assists in addition to six boards and three blocks.
As for Boston, they have more to be thankful for after their matchup against the Houston Rockets on Monday. The Celtics had enough points to win and then some against Houston, taking their game 108-90. Boston’s small forward Jayson Tatum did his thing and had 30 points along with six rebounds. The matchup made it Tatum’s fourth in a row with at least 30 points. Barring any buzzer beaters, Brooklyn is expected to win a tight contest. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past two games, so buyers beware.
The Nets didn’t have too much trouble with the Celtics at home when the two teams previously met in June as they won 123-109. Brooklyn’s win shoved Boston out of the playoffs, so they have a target on their back.
