So, the Cowboys will have to find a way to rebound from last week’s tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs without three of their coaches, including assistant head coach Joe Philbin, star wideout Amari Cooper and fellow receiver CeeDee Lamb, who was ruled out with a concussion.

Especially for a team like Dallas trying to put a far better product on the field than they did last week. Above all, the Cowboys will have to find a way to get the job done in the no-excuses environment of the NFL.

That’s no easy task for the Cowboys, even against a Raiders team that has lost three games in a row. One would think that the Cowboys would feel the absences of Cooper and Lamb more than those of the coaches, but even a coach who occupies the smallest role could be pivotal to a team’s success.

Story Highlights

  • More rough news for Dallas, already without Amari Cooper (Covid), Dallas will now be without three assistant coaches out today bc of COVID, including asst head coach/offensive line coach Joe Philbin who tested positive for today after feeling symptoms @NFLonFOX

  • That’s a rough blow for the Cowboys to be dealt just a couple hours before kickoff against the Raiders on Thanksgiving.

As for the Raiders, they might just have better chance of putting that losing skid to an end, given this recent update on the Cowboys.
