Ercanli has more than 15 years of experience in the OB/GYN specialty and joins MVHS from Heights Medical, a private practice in Brooklyn. She specializes in providing care to women across the continuum of care, including prenatal, antepartum and postpartum gynecological care. She also provides support and care to women through the perimenopause and menopausal processes.

Dr. Muzeyyen Ercanli has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Medical Group as an obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) at the MVHS Women’s Health Center and MVHS OB Care Center, where she will provide inpatient and outpatient care.
She earned a medical degree from Uludag University in Bursa, Turkey. She performed her OB/GYN residency at Suleymaniye Maternity and Women’s Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey and completed an additional OB/GYN residency at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
• The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce’s November Business After Hours will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at GPO Federal Credit Union, 4311 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford. Guests will enjoy refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and door prizes while learning more about GPO’s local financial services like onsite mortgage origination. • Mohawk Valley Community College’s Nursing AAS degree program has earned continuing accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) for eight years, through Spring 2029, the maximum term, for achievement of quality and excellence in nursing education. MVCC’s Nursing program educates nurses at the associate level to practice in collaborative or leadership roles in hospitals as well as clinics, mental health facilities, and long-term care. • Dr. Hsin Kwung Li has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Cancer Center as a radiation oncologist, where he provides and directs radiation therapy treatments for cancer patients. Li has more than five years of experience in medicine, including the last four in radiation oncology. He specializes in X-ray guided radiation treatment of tumors in the body. He earned a medical degree and performed his residency in radiation oncology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He previously earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Li is accepting referrals for new patients. • BME – Business Machines and Equipment is moving its corporate office from 8375 Seneca Turnpike in New Hartford, to 5 Ann St. in Mohawk. The two-story building, which has been under renovation for over a year, will include a world-class technology showroom that will be completed in the first quarter of 2022 with over 15,000 square feet of office space and 65,000 in distribution and warehouse space.
