If the programs are successful, they will create an online toolkit for other nations to improve their own food systems.
This includes partnerships with the Osage and Choctaw Nations and Native entities in Alaska.
$3.5 million will go toward partnering with the Osage Nation and National Congress of American Indians. They will implement and study new food programs in the Osage nation and document findings.
$2 million will go toward partnerships to develop a ‘Center for Indigenous Innovation and Health Equity.’
