Version 1.05 should be installed on PS4 and Xbox One, while update 1.009.000 should be installed on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
As of right now, there are now official patch notes for either versions of the game at the moment. We will try to update this post as soon as more info comes our way.
The last current-gen update came out a few weeks ago and was patch 1.04. As reported by OrbisPatches.com, this “Improved the stability of the title in addition to a number of general improvements to the user experience.”
The last next-gen update came out October 7th and the official NBA 2K Twitter page said it “addressed an issue reported by members in the community where the game could hang upon completion of MyCAREER or MyNBA/based games.”
NBA 2K22 Update 1.009.000 and 1.05 is now out, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes included in this patch.Normally, 2K Sports releases next-gen and current-gen updates separately, but fresh patches for both platform generations are now available. Owners of the PS4 and Xbox One, for some reason, will have to download 43 GB and 56 GB respectively for the new update! The download size for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S customers is slightly smaller, at roughly 3.9 GB and 9 GB, respectively.
