Seahawks Place TE Gerald Everett On Reserve / COVID List-19, Sign Third to Make a Practice Group

Luton, who signed with the Seahawks just before the start of the season, spent the first three weeks of the season on the 53-man roster, though he was inactive for all three games, then was waived on Tuesday.

Story Highlights

  • Izzo, a seventh-round pick of the Patriots in 2018, has appeared in 18 games over the past two seasons, starting 16, including 12 starts last year, and he has 19 career receptions for 313 yards and one touchdown. Izzo was traded from New England to Houston in March, then waived prior to the start of the season. He then signed to the New York Giants’ practice squad at the start of the season, and was released last week.

  • Additionally, tight end Colby Parkinson and tackle Cedric Ogbuehi have been designated to return to practice from injured reserve. The Seahawks do not yet need to make room for those two on the 53-man roster, but would have to before they can play in a game. Once players return to practice, teams have 21 days to either add those players to the 53-man roster or leave them on injured reserve for the rest of the season.
